5 Glorious Reasons To Walk Gods Way And His Will

5 Glorious Reasons To Walk In God's Will And His Way by Earma Brown

A disciple asked Jesus point blank, "Lord teach us to pray..." Jesus immediately gave them and now us a pattern, even a model prayer to pray.

He directed us to reverence Father God first of all, then to ask for God's way and his will to be done in our lives.

Remember, "Our Father who are heaven, holy is your name; your kingdom come (way of doings things; government), your will be done (word of God) on earth as it is in heaven...

Which brings me to the principle, we're discussing today, Father God has a way of doing things that he wants us to follow.

Essentially, his way is the kingdom of God. In fact, he commands us to 'seek first the kingdom of God and all other things will be added unto us.'

Just for clarification, kingdom is domain, rulership, way of doing things. When you are born again as a Christian, you are under another kingdom.

You are translated, born again, saved into this kingdom of God, a kingdom of light.

In the kingdom of God, there is no lack. There is no curse. There is plenty of provision, already. The curse was eradicated by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus

Christ. There is peace and prosperity. Father God has ALREADY made you more wealthy than your wildest dreams. The blessing was made ready to activate by faith in God's covenant with believers in Jesus.

Sacrificial and redemptive, the blood of Jesus was applied to the mercy seat of God, once and for all.

Doing it Father God's way, Jesus suffered, died on the cross, was buried and rose again. After the finished work, he has sat down at the right hand of the Father to wait for his enemies to become his foot stool.

So, let's continue with the ALREADYs

Over the years, immature and sometimes disobedient, I've sought to go my own way. I can testify my way has never worked well for me. And neither will yours.

I've finally said, it was good that I was afflicted, that I might greatly desire God's will and his way.

Those words came out of my spirit man. They are reminiscent of another person who had revelation on this matter. He said, 'It was good that I was afflicted so that I might not go astray...'

Or the Apostle Paul who after many trials and tribulations, "8Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9And He has said to me,

"My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of

Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong... -2 Corinthians 12:9

Finally, our Lord Jesus, and greatest example, he learned obedience through suffering, just as we must do also.

During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Even though Jesus was God's Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.

In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. -Hebrews 5:7,8,9

In the Garden of Gethsemane, we find Jesus, kneeling alone praying with such intensity that has sweat rolling off his face as great drops of blood. 'If it be your will, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, your will be done..." And so it was, God's will and His way. Just as he warned earlier the disciples, he was handed over and suffered greatly at their hands.

It was God's way, through his son Jesus that the earth and humanity be reclaimed from the hands of Satan.

With all that said, don't be afraid. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. Our God is a loving father. He works all things to our good. He never wastes our pain and promises to pay back for every trouble and tribulation on this side of heaven or the next. He always recompense.

Here are five glorious reasons to believe and walk in his will, his way and his kingdom more and more:

 1. Live His way and have a happy life.

"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:33,34

2. Pray his way and get answers

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.… -1 John 5:13,14,15

3.   Think His thoughts, learn his ways and fulfill his plans

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.…… -Isaiah 55:8-11

4.   Know his way is to trouble those who trouble you.

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you. 1 Thessalonians 4:6

5.   Commit your way to the Lord and trust him to receive his way, his plan, your destiny

Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light And your judgment as the noonday.…-Psalm 37:5

Now, keep going in God's way and his will. Begin to deposit God's word into your heart and watch your life blossom into God's ways. Renew your mind, watch yourself transform into a new creature for Christ. Just as Prophet Isaiah proclaimed, his thoughts and his ways are higher than ours but it doesn't have to be that way. Because of God's guarantee, he will watch over his word in our lives to perform it.
